Harry was woken by something sharp poking him repeatedly in the back of the head. Reaching back to swat at whatever it was, he felt feathers and groaned.
“Oye, Hermione! Call off the attack owl, will you?”
His answer was only silence and the pecking continued until he turned over with an exasperated sigh and opened his eyes. He’d intended to sleep the day away, as it was better than spending his and Ron’s anniversary alone.
The size of the owl caught him by surprise, and he grinned. “Pig!”
Removing the letter, he saw his two favorite words: Come downstairs.
